Go Local, Go Different: Business & Community Working Session

The Go Local, Go Different (GLGD) initiative brings together small business owners, nonprofit leaders, event organizers, and community members to strengthen Santa Fe’s neighborhoods and support our local economy.

The City of Santa Fe’s Office of Economic Development (OED), in partnership with the Santa Fe Economic Development Advisory Committee (EDAC), is launching a regularly occurring business working session to help steer GLGD and be a voice for local businesses. These gatherings will serve as a space to:

• share feedback and help guide Go Local, Go Different iniaitives
• surface broader business and community concerns
• help shape how City-led economic development efforts show up on the ground

This kickoff meeting will focus on:

• lessons learned from recent placemaking efforts (including the Guadalupe Street Winter Walk)
• how we collectively shape a Go Local campaign that reflects Santa Fe’s values, creativity, and resilience
• updates and schedule for OED events, resources (like SAFE grants) and efforts
• creating a space to solicit feedback from business-owners
