Farm to Table’s New Mexico Farmer Innovation Program has just opened a Request for Applications for Micro-Grant funding opportunities for the Rural and Tribal Agriculture Initiative. If you are an farmer, rancher or food producer with a gross cash farm income of $250,000 or less per year who produces in New Mexico, you may be eligible to apply for a non-matching grant.

Applications must be submitted electronically or emailed to nmfip@farmtotablenm.org no later than 5:00 pm MT, July 27, 2026 or by mail to: Farm to Table, 518 Old Santa Fe Trail, Suite 1, Box 171, Santa Fe, NM 87505. 

Mailed applications must be postmarked by July 27, 2026.

August 2026 Grant awards announced

March 31, 2027 Deadline to complete projects and expend funds

April 14, 2027 Deadline to submit final report, financial report and project data
